Motorsports New Sensation

In the space of 2 years Harry Golding has won the formula two championship and got signed to one of the biggest teams on the formula one grid in Mercedes. Last week I got to sit down and talk to him about his success and what drives him to succeed.

Immediately from first seeing Harry he oozed confidence and although you may think he would be cocky or overconfident, he was the complete opposite. He was extremely humbled and talked about how lucky and how grateful he is to be competing in the top level of motorsport. After introducing myself I asked him what motivates him to succeed and push harder each race to try and win. He told me that he tries to isolate himself when the race weekend starts so he cannot be distracted and has all his attention on the grand prix. He stated that he enjoys sightseeing and experiencing what each country he travels to has to offer after he has completed his race. 

I also asked him what the difference was between formula one and formula two and was surprised to know that there was quite the difference. Harry stated that drivers are much more aggressive and there is of course a much bigger fanbase which means there is always press and media everywhere he goes.
